Brooklyn Queen was born on July 3, 2005, in Detroit, Michigan, USA. She is the daughter of Nailtorious Kim, a renowned nail technician and rapper, and her father, Duke. Brooklyn grew up alongside her three siblings: Andrego, Deandre, and Dyson. Her diverse heritage includes African-American, Mexican, and Caucasian/White ancestry. ​

Musical Beginnings

Brooklyn's passion for music ignited at an early age. By the age of five, she had already written her first song, and by eight, she recorded her first track. Her mother, Nailtorious Kim, played a significant role in nurturing her musical talents, serving as both an inspiration and mentor. ​

Breakthrough with "Keke Taught Me"

In 2017, Brooklyn achieved viral success with her music video "Keke Taught Me." The video garnered over half a million views within its first month on YouTube, propelling her into the spotlight. The song's catchy lyrics and dance moves resonated with a broad audience, establishing her as a rising star in the music industry.

Beyond her musical endeavors, Brooklyn ventured into acting. In 2019, she portrayed a rap artist in the short film "Love Is The Only River." She further expanded her acting portfolio with roles such as Senna in the Brat TV series "Charmers" (2021–2022), Jasmin in the film "My Favorite Girlfriend" (2022), and Destiny Rogers in "Almost Popular" (2024).
